CGN Men’s Retreat 2026

Walking in Wisdom

Conforming to Christ in the Proverbs

October 2–3, 2026

Conference Point Center · Williams Bay, WI

“Blessed is the one who finds wisdom … She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed.”

Proverbs 3:13, 18
The CGN men’s retreat mark: a tree whose trunk is a winding path

“But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.”

Proverbs 4:18

What to Expect

Come and learn wisdom

Join men from gospel-faithful churches across the wider Chicagoland area as we gather around the truth of God’s word—particularly the practical wisdom of Proverbs.

Through reverberant singing, robust preaching, interactive workshops, and a weekend of fellowship, you’ll be encouraged to walk in greater wisdom no matter your season in life. We promise you will be well-fed—both spiritually and physically—and if you come ready to receive, you will return home a better man by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What is CGN?

A fellowship of pastors and churches

The Chicagoland Gospel Network is a fellowship of pastors who gather monthly for book discussions, prayer and mutual encouragement. Over the years, through the friendship of the pastors, the churches represented came to grow in fellowship through events such as multi-church hymn sings, conferences, concerts and retreats.

The men’s retreat was at the heart of much of that and has continued to increase in appreciation and attendance. CGN is not a denomination, and every church is free to make their own associational commitments. What is unique about CGN is that it is rooted in the friendships and connections between the pastors. At the men’s retreat, the pastors work together to ensure that the men in attendance are blessed by rich teaching and like-minded fellowship with their brothers from their own churches and beyond.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:7
